HPH 2043 is a Syngenta F1 chilli hybrid bred for the Byadgi (KDL-type) dry-chilli segment, marketed for north-Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh black-cotton-soil rabi cultivation. It is positioned as a low-pungency, very-high-colour, long-fruit hybrid targeted at the oleoresin and natural-red-colour market.
