Maize (Zea mays)

Maize (Zea mays L.) is India's third-largest cereal after rice and wheat, mandate crop of ICAR-Indian Institute of Maize Research, Ludhiana. Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Rajasthan, Maharashtra, Bihar, UP, MP and Himachal Pradesh together produce over 80% of national output, with AP alone contributing ~20.9%.
