The Bollgard-II trait controls the lepidopteran bollworm complex. It does not control the sucking-pest complex (Sucking Pest Complex Cotton, Jassid Leafhopper Cotton, Whitefly In Cotton Chilli) or Pink Bollworm populations resistant to Cry1Ac and Cry2Ab.

Adoption and use

Tulasi 7 is widely distributed in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Karnataka through dealer networks. It sits alongside hybrids from Crystal (Crystal Cch 369, Crystal Sadanand), Rasi (Rasi 659), Mahyco (Mayko Bahubali Plus) and Nuziveedu (Nuziveedu Navaneeth) in the southern Bt cotton market.
