Kadiri Lepakshi-1812 groundnut
Kadiri Lepakshi (K-1812) is a Spanish-bunch groundnut variety bred at the Regional Agricultural Research Station, Kadiri (Acharya N G Ranga Agricultural University) and notified for All India Summer Zone III.

Adoption and use
The variety is profuse-bearing, drought tolerant, and resistant to thrips, jassids and leaf spot. In multi-location AICRP trials it produced 3840 kg/ha dry pod and 2666 kg/ha kernel yield - 31.87% and 29.74% above national check TAG 24 and 43% above zonal check Kadiri Harithandhra. Suited to semi-arid Anantapur-Chittoor belt of AP.
