Gongura / Roselle (Hibiscus sabdariffa)
Gongura (Hibiscus sabdariffa L. var. rubra, Malvaceae) is a 2-3 m tall annual leafy-vegetable shrub with reddish-purple stems and trumpet-shaped flowers, called pundi (Kannada), ambadi (Marathi), pulicha keerai (Tamil) and gongura (Telugu).
