Kufri Pukhraj
Kufri Pukhraj is an early-maturing table-purpose potato variety released by ICAR-CPRI, Shimla and notified for the Indian plains. It produces up to 40 t/ha under good management, making it among the highest-yielding early Kufri varieties; at 90 DAP it has recorded around 29.9 t/ha in field trials.

Adoption and use
The variety has white-cream tubers preferred for fresh ware market but is not suitable for chip processing because of higher reducing sugars (Kufri Chipsona series is preferred for that use). Widely grown in UP, Bihar, West Bengal, MP and Punjab.
