Royal Delicious జమ్మూ-కాశ్మీర్, హిమాచల్ ప్రదేశ్ల యొక్క backbone commercial యాపిల్ రకం. ఇది Red Delicious గ్రూపులో ఒక colour mutant — తల్లి రకం కంటే లోతైన ఎరుపు stripes, మంచి fruit finish కోసం select చేశారు. కాశ్మీర్ Valley (షోపియాన్, సోపూర్, పుల్వామా, బారాముల్లా, కుప్వారా), HP mid-hill belt (సిమ్లా, కుళు, కిన్నౌర్)లలో 1970-1990 మధ్య నాటిన standard-density తోటల్లో ఎక్కువ Royal Delicious ఉంది.
