థాంప్సన్ సీడ్లెస్ ద్రాక్ష
Thompson Seedless భారత వాణిజ్య ద్రాక్ష పరిశ్రమకు flagship table-grape రకం; మహారాష్ట్ర నుండి జరిగే fresh-grape ఎగుమతుల్లో దాదాపు మొత్తం ఈ రకమే. California లో 19వ శతాబ్దంలో Persian "Sultanina"/"Kishmish" నుండి select చేశారు; 1920ల్లో భారతదేశానికి వచ్చింది; ఇప్పుడు Nashik, Sangli, Solapur, Pune, Satara బెల్టులకు ఆధారం.
ముఖ్య లక్షణాలు
- Berry: oval నుండి పొడవు ఆకారం; light-green నుండి amber రంగు; seedless (stenospermocarpic)
- కోత TSS: 18-22 deg Brix
- Bunch బరువు: 350-700 g; మంచి thinning తో well-shouldered conical bunches
- మహారాష్ట్రలో కోత time: డిసెంబర్ చివర నుండి మార్చి వరకు
- దిగుబడి: ఎగుమతి double-cycle protocol లో 10-15 t/ac; train చేయని pandal systems లో తక్కువ
- వాణిజ్యంలో పెరిగే mutants: Tas-A-Ganesh, Sonaka, Manik Chaman, Sharad Seedless, Sharad's Sudhakar — అన్నీ local bud-sport selection ద్వారా వచ్చినవే
సాగు
Deccan basalt నేలల్లో salinity, drought, nematode ఒత్తిడిని manage చేయడానికి Thompson Seedless ను దాదాపు పూర్తిగా rootstocks (Dogridge లేదా 110R, Grapes Rootstock Dogridge 110R) మీద పెంచుతారు. Vines ను Y-shape, flat-roof లేదా extended Y trellises మీద train చేస్తారు; April back-pruning + September-October forward-pruning అనే double-cycle (Grapes Pruning Foundation Fruit, Grapes Pruning Back Foreward) తో manage చేస్తారు. Berry size పెంచడానికి GA3 sprays రెండు-మూడు సార్లు elongation, thinning కు (Grapes Ga3 Thinning Elongation) వాడతారు. ఎగుమతి blocks లో drip-fertigation, veraison దగ్గర deficit irrigation, protected-cultivation poly-covers (Grapes Bagging Trellis Protected) standard.
పురుగు, తెగుళ్ళు
Monsoon foundation phase లో foliage మీద downy mildew (Grapes Downy Mildew Plasmopara) కు, dry fruiting phase లో bunches మీద powdery mildew (Grapes Powdery Mildew Uncinula) కు ఈ రకం highly susceptible. Anthracnose (Grapes Anthracnose Elsinoe), mealybug, thrips, bunch rot కూడా వస్తాయి. Foundation phase లో heavy spray schedules వల్ల residue management (Grapes Export Residue Mrl Europe) ఎగుమతి పంటకు అతిపెద్ద పరిమితి.
వాడకం
Thompson Seedless, దాని mutants GrapeNet-registered (Grapenet Apeda Traceability) ఎగుమతి plots లో dominant; జనవరి నుండి ఏప్రిల్ మధ్య యూరప్, UK, మిడిల్ ఈస్ట్, ఆగ్నేయాసియాకు shipping చేస్తారు. దేశీయంగా fresh table grapes గా, raisins (kishmish) గా అమ్ముతారు; ఎక్కువ raisin processing Sangli, Bijapur ప్రాంతాల్లో జరుగుతుంది.
