పనిచేసే విధానం
Mepiquat chloride ent-kaurene oxidase, gibberellin biosynthetic pathway లో ఇతర enzymes కార్యకలాపాలను నిరోధిస్తుంది. ఫలితంగా endogenous gibberellin తగ్గి, internode పొడవు తగ్గుతుంది, కాండం దృఢమవుతుంది, ఆకు విస్తరణ తగ్గుతుంది, canopy build-up నెమ్మదిస్తుంది. ఇదే హార్మోనల్ shift చిన్న pods, squares రాలడాన్ని తగ్గించి, vegetative branches తో పోలిస్తే fruit-bearing branches నిష్పత్తి మెరుగుపరుస్తుంది. సరైన timing వద్ద వేస్తే canopy లోకి light penetration, pesticide స్ప్రే coverage కూడా బాగుంటాయి.
ఉపయోగం, డోసు
భారతీయ పత్తికి ప్రామాణిక సిఫార్సు:
- కాన్సన్ట్రేషన్: 5% AS, ఎకరానికి 400-600 ml, 200-400 లీటర్ల నీటిలో.
- సమయం: విత్తన తర్వాత 45-60 రోజులకు మొదలుపెట్టి split applications, vegetative vigour ప్రకారం 10-15 రోజుల వ్యవధిలో ఒకటి లేదా రెండు follow-up స్ప్రేలు.
- చేయకూడని పనులు: తేమ లోపం, బలహీన పంటపై వేయకూడదు; stressed canopy పై వేస్తే పెరుగుదల ఇంకా అదుపు అయి దిగుబడి తగ్గుతుంది.
vegetative status ప్రకారం డోసు, splits సంఖ్య సర్దుబాటు చేయాలని ICAR-CICR సిఫార్సు. తక్కువ vigour ఉన్న పంటకు తక్కువ రేటు లేదా skip చేయవచ్చు.
భద్రత, రెగ్యులేటరీ
CIB&RC వద్ద పత్తికి registered. సిఫార్సు డోసు వద్ద తేనెటీగలకు, చాలా non-target organisms కు హాని లేదు. Pre-harvest interval లేబుల్పై ఉంటుంది. స్ప్రే పరికరాలను బాగా శుభ్రం చేయాలి — residues తర్వాత sensitive crops పై ప్రభావం చూపవచ్చు.
