సముద్రపు నాచు extract (Ascophyllum/Kappaphycus)
సముద్రపు నాచు extract అనేది marine macroalgae నుండి తీసిన plant biostimulant — ప్రధానంగా చల్లని-నీటి brown alga Ascophyllum nodosum, వేడి-నీటి red alga Kappaphycus alvarezii. సహజంగా ఉండే auxins, cytokinins, gibberellins, alginate polysaccharides, betaines, trace పోషకాలు అందిస్తుంది. ఇవి మొక్క పెరుగుదల, పూత, stress tolerance ను ప్రభావితం చేస్తాయి.

భారతీయ కమర్షియల్ పద్ధతి patented CSIR-CSMCRI Kappaphycus sap process. ఇది IFFCO, ఇతర తయారీదారులకు licensed. PI Biovita, అనేక humic-fortified formulations వంటి విస్తృత శ్రేణి బ్రాండెడ్ ఉత్పత్తులు ఇదే general కేటగిరీ లో వస్తాయి.
పనిచేసే విధానం
సముద్రపు నాచు extracts నేరుగా NPK సరఫరా కంటే hormonal modulation ద్వారా పనిచేస్తాయి. సహజ auxins, cytokinins వేరు పెరుగుదల, lateral branching ను పెంచుతాయి. Gibberellins cell elongation, reproductive transition కు help. Betaines, alginates వేడి, కరువు, ఉప్పు stress కింద osmoprotectants గా పనిచేస్తాయి. Polysaccharide భాగం root zone ను condition చేస్తుంది. Treated పంటలు బలమైన వేరు వ్యవస్థలు, ఎక్కువ side branches, మెరుగైన పూత, తక్కువ పూ-పండు రాలడం చూపిస్తాయి.
ఉపయోగం, డోసు
- Foliar: vegetative-to-reproductive transition, కాయ సెట్ వద్ద లీటర్కు 2.5-5 ml liquid concentrate.
- Granular: ఎకరానికి 4-10 kg, basal లేదా side-dressing గా.
- డ్రిప్ ఫెర్టిగేషన్: పూత, కాయ-సెట్ windows వద్ద ఎకరానికి 0.5-1 L.
వరి, పత్తి, మిర్చి, చెరకు, పప్పుధాన్యాలు, నూనెగింజలు, horticulture లో వాడతారు. Crop-specific entries: వరి (Seaweed Extract Paddy), మిర్చి (Biostimulants Amino Acid Seaweed), పత్తి (Cotton Biostimulant Flower Retention).

2021 order కింద FCO నోటిఫైడ్ plant biostimulant. Registered ఉత్పత్తులకు CIB&RC registration number ఉంటుంది. ఫీల్డ్ రేట్ల వద్ద విషం లేదు, చాలా contexts లో organic-input frameworks లో accepted.
