GSM mobile pump starter అంటే — పంప్హౌస్లో అమర్చే SIM-based remote controller. రైతు missed call, SMS లేదా smartphone app ద్వారా irrigation పంప్ ను remote గా on/off చేయొచ్చు. గ్రామీణ feeders లో three-phase power restore అయినప్పుడు బోర్వెల్ దగ్గరకు రాత్రిళ్లు పరుగెత్తే అవసరం తీరుతుంది.
పని
Controller — motor contactor, supply మధ్యలో కూర్చుంటుంది. వచ్చే GSM commands contactor ను open/close చేస్తాయి. Integrated sensors — supply voltage, motor current, water-flow probes monitor చేస్తాయి. Faults — automatic cut-off, registered mobile కు status SMS trigger చేస్తాయి.
డిజైన్, స్పెసిఫికేషన్లు
Single-phase units — 2-5 HP motors కు 230 V supply handle చేస్తాయి. Three-phase units — 7.5-15 HP motors కు 415 V supply. Built-in protections — dry-run detection, overload, single-phase prevention (neutral failure కి), over/under-voltage cut-off. చాలా units — unattended timed operation కు 5 scheduling windows వరకు అందిస్తాయి. Indian manufacturers — Nelsotech, RMG Automation, Indusmate, Accord, GIC India, Dyulabs (Varun S2).
నడిపే విధానం
Setup కు — active SIM card (చిన్న SMS pack తో), registered mobile numbers configure, contactor కి bind చేయడం అవసరం. User — missed call (లేదా SMS / app command) ఇచ్చి పంప్ start చేస్తాడు, రెండో missed call తో stop చేస్తాడు. Single-phase units retail ధర దాదాపు Rs 4,000-6,000.

GSM starters — చాలా రాష్ట్ర energy-conservation, DBT-agriculture programmes కింద listed. కొన్ని Discoms demand-side management లో భాగంగా promote చేస్తాయి. తెలంగాణ, ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్, కర్ణాటక, మహారాష్ట్ర, తమిళనాడులో — three-phase supply అస్థిరంగా ఉండే చోట్ల — adoption ఎక్కువ.
