Diafenthiuron (Syngenta Pegasus)
డయఫెన్థియురాన్ (సింజెంటా పెగాసస్)
Diafenthiuron అనేది thiourea-derivative పురుగు మందు + ఎకరిసైడ్. భారత్లో Syngenta Pegasus 50% WPగా అమ్ముతారు. ఇది "pro-insecticide" — sunlight లేదా పురుగు P450 enzymes దీన్ని కన్వర్ట్ చేశాకే active form పొలంలో తయారవుతుంది.

పనిచేసే విధానం
Parent diafenthiuronని UV light, పురుగు cytochrome P450 oxidases active carbodiimide metaboliteగా కన్వర్ట్ చేస్తాయి; ఇది mitochondrial ATP synthase (complex V) ని irreversibly inhibit చేస్తుంది. IRAC Group 12A (mitochondrial ATP synthase inhibitor). పురుగు తినగానే లేదా contact అయినాక కొద్ది గంటల్లోనే activity తగ్గి, తర్వాత paralysis, మరణం. ఈ మాలిక్యూల్ translaminar; systemic కాదు.

Emamectin benzoate తో combination (చూడండి Input Emamectin Diafenthiuron) ని మిర్చి, పత్తిలో సకింగ్ + గొంగళి పురుగుల ఏకకాల కవరేజ్ కోసం విస్తృతంగా వాడతారు.
భద్రత, రెగ్యులేటరీ
Diafenthiuron యొక్క ప్రత్యేక mode of action వల్ల neonicotinoid programmesకి (Acetamiprid, Thiamethoxam Actara, Flupyradifurone Gracia తో rotation) — ముఖ్యంగా తెల్లదోమ — resistance-managementలో కీలక భాగస్వామి. క్షీరదాలకి మోస్తరు టాక్సిక్; label intervals పాటించాలి; pre-harvest interval పంటను బట్టి మారుతుంది.
