HD 3226, Pusa Yashasvi పేరుతో, ICAR-IARI పూసా, న్యూ ఢిల్లీలో బ్రీడ్ చేసి 2019లో notify చేశారు. ఎక్కువ దిగుబడితో పాటు బలమైన durable rust resistance, మంచి bread-making quality — protein దాదాపు 12.8 శాతం — ఉన్నందున NWPZ లోని రైతులకు, millers కు రెండింటికీ attractive గా ఉంది.

HD 3226 timely-sown irrigated రకం. విత్తనం వేసే కాలం అక్టోబర్ 25 - నవంబర్ 25. Seed rate 100 kg/ha, వరుసల మధ్య 22.5 cm. NPK 150:60:40 kg/ha; N split 50:25:25. Season లో ఐదు-ఆరు irrigations (CRI, tillering, jointing, flowering, milking, dough). Medium to heavy loam నేలల్లో assured tube-well irrigation తో దిగుబడి బాగా వస్తుంది.

HD 3226 ను multi-gene rust resistance తో బ్రీడ్ చేశారు; పంజాబ్, హర్యానా కొన్ని pockets లో HD 2967 ను break చేసిన yellow rust races కి కూడా ఈ రకం బలంగా నిలబడింది. Brown rust resistance కూడా అదే విధంగా బలంగా ఉంది. Karnal bunt response moderate — seed testing పెట్టుకోవాలి. Aphids, చెదలను imidacloprid 17.8 SL seed treatment తో నియంత్రించాలి.
