భగ్వా దానిమ్మ
భగ్వా భారత వాణిజ్య దానిమ్మ ప్రధాన రకం; Mahatma Phule Krishi Vidyapeeth (MPKV) రహురి 2003-04 ప్రాంతంలో విడుదల చేసింది. Export నాణ్యత, ఆకర్షణీయమైన పండు రూపం, ఉన్నతమైన arils తో భారత దానిమ్మ పరిశ్రమను మార్చిన రకం ఇదే.

సాగు
భగ్వాను air-layering, hardwood cuttings లేదా tissue culture ద్వారా propagate చేస్తారు; రెండు-మూడు ఏళ్లలో కాపు మొదలవుతుంది. వాణిజ్య దూరాలు 8 x 12 ft నుండి 12 x 8 ft వరకు (ఎకరానికి సుమారు 366-400 మొక్కలు); డ్రిప్ ఇరిగేషన్తో one-time setup cost ఎకరానికి సుమారు Rs 1 లక్ష. పూతను సింక్రనైజ్ చేయడానికి, premium మార్కెట్ విండోలోకి కోత time చేయడానికి ఆహర్-బహర్ treatment (Pomegranate Ahar Bahar Cycling) ద్వారా పంటను regulate చేస్తారు. వేసవిలో sunburn, cracking తగ్గించడానికి overhead shade-cloth (Pomegranate Shade Net Canopy) వాడతారు. భగ్వా drought-hardy; ఎక్కువ కాలం irrigation లేకుండా బ్రతుకుతుంది, కానీ ఎక్కువ నీటి ఒత్తిడి వల్ల దిగుబడి తీవ్రంగా పడిపోతుంది.
